Servers

Login Regions

When logging into the game for the first time you will be met with a list of servers, the region you select for this will be the one your account data is tied to - It will not limit which game servers you're able to play on and is purely used for account data. If you have any issues signing in or are a returning player, please try Europe 1 first to get your account setup.

Game Servers

When playing online and after selecting your character you will be met with the lobby screen, from here you're able to select a region from the top - This will affect your Ping/Latency and change which game lobbies you are able to see, you are always free to swap between these when making or joining a new lobby.

Tips

  • Check Merchants often, they can be a great way to find some early game Superior or Rare items, you can also find some Common base items for early Runeword crafting
  • Low Tier Gems socketed into items for some flat spell or attack additives can help with early Difficulties
  • Focus on the Normal and Nightmare difficulty Quests for some free rewards, they should all be very natural to complete as you progress through each Act and will help you access some Runes for free to help with crafting
  • The Black Tower Dungeon on Nightmare Difficulty can be a great source for runes early on to help with crafting Runewords
  • All Runes can be "downcrafted" by placing 1 of a Rune into the Crafting Bench in a town incase you're missing some lower tier Runes
  • Some great earlygame Runewords to consider crafting are:
    • Quickstep - Boots - Ymn & Del Runes
    • Shadow - Body Armor - Tul & Eth Runes
    • Delirium Tremens - Helmet - Vex & Vex Runes
    • Skysong - Shield, Sword, Bow, Gun, Staff, Book or Spellblade - Uth, Sal, Nut & Rex Runes
    • Shelter - Shield - Co, Co & Mal Runes
    • Flesh Ripper - Helmet - Ymn & Nut Runes
    • Gladstone Goose's Jacket - Body Armor - Fel, Um, Pul & Sal Runes
  • When you start to feel comfortable with a difficulty setting, increase it by 1 level and see how it feels - If Satanic Zones or Dungeons are too difficult try out some higher density early Act maps like Fields of Battle or Pumpkin Patch until you get some stronger items or higher levels to progress into higher difficulties
  • If you find yourself falling behind slightly in Levels you can run the Sand Cave Dungeon on either Normal or Nightmare Difficulty to help a bit, this Dungeon is solid option due to its high monster density
  • Consider switching your skills or item setups before some bosses to something more single target focused if you're struggling with any of the Bosses
  • If you're struggling with mana issues or dying you should consider adjusting how you're spending your Attribute Points:
    • For Casters around 40% Intelligence, 40% Vitality and 20% Energy
    • Physical classes around 35% Strength, 10% Dexterity, 50% Vitality and 5% Energy (Try to not over-invest in Dexterity)
  • For any crafting recipes which require a "Perfect Skull", you can use any other Perfect Gem instead
  • Holding the Alt key while hovering over any item will show detailed tooltip information, explaining effects in more detail
  • Companions will auto-loot a wide variety of items for you such as Gold, Keys & Ores
  • Every recipe and item in the game can be viewed in the Journal (When opening the menu in-game press the Book icon)
  • You can toggle show/hide on your quests and even abandon them in the quests tab (When opening the menu in-game press the yellow "!" icon)
    • Quests will also have an icon beside their names in the quests tab, this indicates which difficulty they must be completed on
